Max Verstappen secured the third-fastest time in the third and final practice session for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, trailing Lando Norris of McLaren. This marks an improvement for Verstappen compared to yesterday, where he finished seventh and fifth in the earlier sessions.

The qualifying session is scheduled for 16:00 at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, with the race set for tomorrow at 15:00.

Yesterday, Verstappen expressed frustration with his RB21, struggling to find balance and even hitting his steering wheel in frustration. However, in today's session, he appeared more comfortable, holding the fastest time on medium tires for much of the practice before Norris and Oscar Piastri edged ahead by less than 0.2 seconds.
